WildWing Roundabout Landscape Enhancement Project
FLM will begin work on the WildWing Drive Roundabout Landscape Enhancement Project on June 8. Residents are asked to be aware of crews and equipment working in the area.
As part of the District’s ongoing commitment to water-conscious landscaping and long-term sustainability, both roundabouts on WildWing Drive will be enhanced with landscape rock and boulders.
To complete the project, various existing plants will be removed from the roundabout areas. Many of these plants will be reused within other Metro District landscape beds to improve overall landscape appearance and fill in existing gaps.
In addition, daylily plants will be made available to community members on a first-come, first-served basis for replanting in their own yards. The plants will be available beginning Monday evening at the playground park area on WildWing Drive (see map below). Any remaining plants will be removed from the site on Tuesday evening.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as these improvements are completed.
