Timnath Reservoir Construction Update

The town of Timnath has received several questions on the ditch company's construction project along the north shoreline of the Timnath Reservoir. The town has provided the following update:

Some have noticed that work is underway at the north shoreline of the reservoir. While the Timnath community enjoys and loves the reservoir, we do not own this land; we lease it. The reservoir company owns the land, and this is their project. The project includes creating a 20’ wide access area between the rear lots and the edge of the reservoir and stabilizing the shoreline with recycled concrete rip rap. While the Town does not have jurisdiction over the project, we are in conversation with the ditch company to voice our residents’ concerns and ensure everyone’s safety.
