The town of Timnath has installed a temporary platform at the Wildwing beach area. This platform will be installed at the end of the existing trail that ends at the beach. This temporary access point will span the riprap to allow residents to have access to the water.
This summer the town plans to add stairs which will span the riprap in three locations within Wildwing. The stairs are planned to be installed at the end of the tree access paths leading to the reservoir. Once will be installed at the end of the beach path, one will be installed at the end of the path from Majestic View Drive, west of the beach area, and one will be located at the end of the path from Wildview Lane on the east side of the community. The stairs are a temporary solution as the town is looking to find a permanent solution during the constructions of the TBD trail work around the reservoir.
