Ballots for District Consolidation Coming to Your Mailbox Soon

WildWing Metropolitan Districts Nos. 1 - 5
As we discussed in the Annual Meeting and District Board meetings, the community must vote on the District’s proposal to consolidate the five individual districts into a single district. This election is being conducted entirely by mail and is fast approaching and your ballot will be arriving in your mailbox within the next few days. This election is being conducted entirely by mail-in ballot.
To help you prepare, we’re providing a preview of the ballot questions related to the consolidation initiative. While the District is only pursuing consolidation, five ballot questions are included to successfully accomplish this:
• Questions A–D must receive a majority "Yes" vote for the consolidation to proceed.
• Question E pertains to board member term limits and is only applicable if the consolidation is approved.
It’s important that voters respond to all five ballot questions.

Ballot Questions Overview
The ballot questions are summarized below. The full text of each question is attached to this email and posted on the District’s website: www.wildwingmd.live.
• Ballot Question A – Approval of the Consolidation of WildWing Metro District Nos. 1–5
Seeks voter approval to consolidate the five existing districts into a single entity, to be known as WildWing Metropolitan District.
• Ballot Question B – Approval of the Consolidation Agreement
Seeks voter approval of the consolidation plan as adopted by the Boards of Directors of each of the five districts.
• Ballot Question C – Assumption of Contractual Obligations
Seeks voter approval for the new consolidated district to assume the existing contractual obligations of the five individual districts.
Note: All operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts are currently held by District No. 1, but all districts are financially obligated to fund these expenses. Consolidation will not change this funding responsibility.
• Ballot Question D – Assumption of Bond Indebtedness
Seeks voter approval for the new consolidated district to assume the bond indebtedness currently serviced by District No. 5.
Note: While District No. 5 holds the debt, all five districts are financially obligated to fund the debt service. Consolidation does not change this funding responsibility.
• Ballot Question E – Approval for Board Members to Serve Without Term Limits
Seeks voter approval to allow the Board of Directors of the new consolidated district to serve without term limits — maintaining the current arrangement, as no term limits exist for board members in the five existing districts.
